Partner who has been with the Firm since 2014. She focuses on project development and finance practice as well as banking, finance and capital market transactions. As a project finance legal adviser, she represents many parties at different sides of the transactions – leading project sponsors, lenders, suppliers – in many sectors which involve financing and structuring of complex projects. She also represents them before the authorities such as Turkish Competition Board, BRSA. Her experience in project finance also includes drafting incorporation of SPVs, conducting necessary corporate works, assisting in arranging, negotiating and financial closing of facility agreements as well as security agreements, direct agreements, shareholder support agreements and debt assumption agreements.

She is regularly engaged in negotiating joint ventures, concessions or other development and financing agreements. Ms. Çevik has recently assisted in the loan agreement and the security package of one of the biggest ongoing infrastructure projects not only in Turkey but also in Europe and Middle East. In addition to her expertise in project finance, she is part of the team who provides comprehensive counseling on local regulations relating to banking, securities, stock exchange matters and other financial transactions, actively advising clients on the legislative developments in financial markets.

Ms. Çevik also provides a thorough legal consultancy in incorporation, acquisition and daily transactions of national and multinational clients including banks, private equities and other financial institutions. Moreover, she has gained experience in corporate and commercial law matters including M&A transactions along with due diligence processes, share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, the establishment of new companies and she is currently involved in the incorporation process of one of the largest banks in the world to be operated in Turkey in the near future.
