Mr. Temur’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial law, construction law and energy law since he joined GSI in 2013. In these fields of expertise, he is specialized in energy, construction and infrastructure projects and corporate law matters including M&A transactions, joint ventures, share purchase and shareholders’ agreements and accordingly he has been involved in various major energy and construction projects and M&A transactions.

Within the scope of energy and construction law, he has represented clients on each side of transactions as employer, contractor, investor, service provider, at all stages of project deals including drafting and negotiation of the contracts and execution processes thereof. Owing to working on many reputable BOT projects, he has vast experience in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements, supply & installation agreements, maintenance and service agreements in relation to power plant and construction projects.

In addition to his expertise in energy and construction law, he has gained extensive experience on corporate and commercial law during his career. He has advised reputable clients on many M&A transactions and carried out a wide range of corporate transactions. Moreover, in relation to M&A transactions, he has drafted and finalized multiple share purchase agreements and shareholders’ agreements especially for the clients in the energy market. He was recently involved in the acquisition of a major petroleum/LPG/LNG company group and an undisclosed electricity distribution and retail sale company. Also, he has advised a Turkish major defense industry player for complex military vehicle agreements and tender processes thereof.

He also gained experience in option agreements based on International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s (ISDA) package while working on the acquisition of a leading petrochemical company’s subsidiary in Turkey by a leading global investment bank.
