Mr. Ali TASAR

Ali Taşar, a graduate of Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law in 2013, chose to specialize in Criminal Law, completing his internship in this field in November 2014. His work encompasses a broad range of criminal law areas, including crimes committed via mass media, such as TV/radio, social media, and the internet, crimes against persons and property under Turkish Penal Law, forgery, crimes against constitutional order and its functioning, government security, espionage, state secrets, terrorism, organized crimes, and offenses against life, physical integrity, and sexual immunity, as well as Press Criminal Law and Penal Procedure Law.

Mr. Taşar provides comprehensive services in Criminal Law-related investigations and cases. His expertise includes conducting criminal investigations, representing and defending clients in prosecution processes, being present during search procedures, objecting against search and arrest warrants, and taking legal actions. He has represented many high-level bureaucrats as victims or plaintiffs in cases and investigations against terrorist organizations of significant national interest.

In addition to his Criminal Law practice, Mr. Taşar has represented well-known politicians, journalists, academics, and businessmen in social media-based cases concerning violations of personal rights. His experience extends to exercising rights of reply and disavowal in Press Law and Radio-TV Law, blocking internet content, litigations of nullity, and full remedy in Administrative Law. He is skilled in actions of pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages in the Law of Obligations, Family Law litigations, and legal applications arising from administrative fines. Mr. Taşar also has expertise in International Private and Procedure Law. He is the author of an article titled 'International Authority of Turkish Courts in Blocking off Access to the Contents of the Internet,' published in both Turkish and English.
