Göksu Sarı, a Partner in the Firm's Corporate Law and Projects Department, also serves on the GSI Corporate Communication Board. A transactional lawyer with the Firm since 2010, her practice primarily focuses on corporate law transactions, project development, and project finance.
Ms. Sarı possesses significant experience in all aspects of project development and finance, with a special emphasis on renewable energy and natural gas. She is knowledgeable in the financing, implementation, and operation of projects. Throughout her career, she has led negotiations and drafted engineering procurement & construction (EPC) contracts, supply & installation contracts, and service & maintenance contracts for both owners/employers and contractors in energy and infrastructure projects. She has expertise in complex natural gas supply, purchase, and off-take agreements, and frequently advises clients on regulatory issues in IT & telecommunications, energy, and media law.
Additionally, Ms. Sarı has established a strong practice in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), corporate law, and corporate governance. She regularly represents her clients in cross-border transactions, including takeovers, mergers & acquisitions, and complex shareholders’ disputes.
Known for her expertise in structuring business organizations and joint ventures, Ms. Sarı tailors her approach to meet the needs of her clients and the realities of the business world. She has been involved in numerous share purchases and shareholders’ agreements, working with both multinational and local company groups.
