PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Ms. Göksu is a corporate lawyer with a focus on energy law, international investment and commercial arbitrations rendering legal consultancy services to both international and national clients and representing them in their local and cross-border transactions. Joining the Firm in 2017, Mr. Göksu has been representing national and multinational clients in their local and cross-border transactions, from several sectors including energy, aviation, industry and construction

He is specialized in international business and commercial transactions, M&A transactions, joint ventures, distributorship agreements, franchise agreements, facility agreements, share purchase agreements and EPC agreement. He is also particularly experienced in natural gas industry and provided several natural gas import companies with legal counselling in their supply, purchase and take-off agreements and contract- related international and national disputes, day to day affairs, business needs, corporate correspondences with other companies and official correspondences with Energy Market Regulatory Authority.

He drafted, reviewed, negotiated with external parties and executed all types of commercial contracts such as confidentiality, share purchase, shareholder, operation and maintance, concession, sale, supply, service, design, construction and maintenance contracts.

He has led negotiations of and drafted engineering procurement & construction (EPC) contracts, supply & installation contracts, service & maintenance contracts for owners/employers and also contractors engaged in energy and infrastructure projects.

He also regularly counsels boards of directors on corporate governance matters and renders legal advice regarding the legal issues that arise in day- to-day operations in all areas of client companies, including but not limited to preparing due diligence reports, reviewing and analyzing the agreements of the companies.
