Mutlu Öztürk Yurdakul also has extensive experience in cross-border transactions, corporate structuring and international trade transactions, engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), public-private partnerships, privatization applications, technology transfer, renewable energy and electricity generation projects. She has represented numerous foreign and local clients operating in a wide range of sectors including energy, retail, manufacturing, services, defense, healthcare, logistics, chemicals, aerospace, food and fashion. In particular, she has specialized in drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including tender documents, EPC contracts, turnkey & lump sum construction contracts, unit price construction contracts, engineering contracts, EPCM contracts, maintenance and repair contracts, architecture contracts, supply contracts, and design contracts. Her expertise extends to handling FIDIC based agreements, as well as projects supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank, along with their related documents. She is also skilled in the preparation and negotiation of sub-contracting, consultancy, cooperation, and joint venture contracts. In addition to her contract drafting and negotiation skills, she provides comprehensive legal contract management services and has considerable experience in addressing issues related to defective goods and services. Recently, Mutlu has led acquisition processes for several major companies. She has advised on the drafting of contracts in Türkiye's largest solar power plant project, provided legal advice on issues management in an investment project of a listed company, and helped minimize the risks arising from the contracts by conducting risk management on issues arising from the substantive contracts of the project in question. Being an expert in the field, she also negotiated, drafted and took to signature concession agreements for very large investment projects in the Middle East and Africa with counterpart government representatives.
